well I'm starting to get my routine together but I got a few questions one what's better this
day1. chest
day2. arms
day3. off, cardo abs
day4. shoulders
day5. legs back
day's6/7  off, cardo abs

or this
day1. chest triceps
day2. leg's/calves
day3. off, cardo abs
day4. back,biceps,forearms
day5. off cardo abs
day6. shoulders
day7. off cardo

right now I'm working on designing my work out.

Bottom...except you are working the shoulders 48 hours before you work chest...not optimal.  Fix that and you have a great split!

Look, the basic splits are there because they work...if you want to reinvent the wheel...first you have to comprehend the science.  So, go for a 2 or 3 day split for now and learn what makes what work, then go for the 4 day split and 5 day split..and THEN try mixing it up yourself.

But until you are seeing 1/2 to 2 pounds regular gains...you don't even know what you are doing..ya gatta learn to drive that bod first!!!

Oh, sorry, I was jsut getting ready to work out!

I think what I recommended is just one way to fix it.

If you get the idea that there are muscles that are primary and ones that are supporting:
Back->Bi
Chest -> tri & sholder

and make sure the major muscle gets hit before the minor one...

ok I think I got it if I take this 
day1. chest
day2. arms
day3. off, cardo abs
day4. shoulders
day5. legs back
day's6/7  off, cardo abs
move day4 to day1 and move arms to day4 that should work better I think.
