how many times should you work out a muscle group weekly : 1 or 2 ?. I have been told that working out a muscle group once a week isnt enough, and some people say twice a week is too much. I personally think twice a week is fine.

if you hit it hard enough, once is good enough.

for some its too much, for some its ok.. really depends on how advanced you are in your training and other factors like which types of training will yeild best results, i train a muscle group once pw and the results are sweet.

Once a week, twice a week- Most people will see nice gains with either. Go over that, and you may be doing too much- Regardless of the supps you're on, it's always smart to make sure your body gets plenty of rest, since that's when all your new muscle is built. Try to stay in the gym too often, and your body won't have a chance to build anything new. I just have to say for the record though- The title of this thread was sort of misleading to me. I took it to mean that working out more often shows a greater work ethic when it comes to lifting- Definitely not true. Someone who works every muscle hard once a week has just as much of a good work ethic for training as anyone else.
