i dont know if it was the adrenaline before the game, but im warm ups i went up and dunked with two hands, no alley oop or nothing, i didnt even jump as hard!! or maybe it could be the weight loss?? im at a solid 175.0lbs as of today, and it was no fluke, because after the game i tried it like 15 times in a row, still dunking lol, its getting to the point to where all i need is two steps before i jump!!! i have never been able to jump like that(put it down with two hands no oop), even when i was 135lbs in highschool! this is amazing lol

so far what ive been doing is wall sits, 2 to 3 times a week, at 1min 30 sec x 3

and donkey calf raises at 400lbs x 20 x 3, standing calf raises at 400 lbs x 20 x 3

and then my regular workouts of course

ill post a video if anyone wants to see me throw down!!

p.s. im only 5'8" woo hoo go short people!

Man, it must feel so damn good to dunk at that height. BTW, we are about the same height, and I couldn't even touch the ring.

ha its pretty tiring. lets see that video man... im a lot taller than that and i get stuffed by the rim everytime.

How long have you been doing those exercises before the workout? i think that i might start doing that ha

We do those sometimes in my MMA class. Since I train my legs so often, I don't really think that they're all that bad, but a lot of other people in the class f***ing hate them.

do the wall sits help with developing the size of the quads/hams/glutes, or is it more a strength or power thing?

ugh I train my legs often but when you have to do "wall sits" against your partners back instead of an actual wall they still suck, or the wall sit for 2 mins, sprint, wall sit for 2 mins, sprint ugh

i got another game today so ill try and get a video in, i've been doing the exercises probably for about a month and a half now

I tried a wall sit for 60 sec.  Nice!  I'll try to see how many 90 sec ones I can do.

I can hang on the rim, but I cant dunk yet :(...heh, im workin on some extra calf work and plyo's a few times a week so hopefully soon I will be.

Years ago I was really into Bball and I weighed about 170 I could throw it down.

But anyway GJ man, especially at your height...thats quite the achievement.

yeaa those calf raises n such seemed to put me where i needed to be, i only needed like 4 more inches to be able to dunk without an alley oop

im sure you'll get it soon if your already hanging on the rim lol
