Id say its safe yeah, you only have to worry about overdosing on protein when it comes to tossing 3 shakes down every few hours, because itl give you terrible diarreah. But 90 grams of protein via shakes doesnt sound too bad, I get 50 grams ish of mine through supplementation.

How many grams of protein is needed after working out? P.S. Bally Total Fitness is selling NO-XPLODE 20% off, not sure if its all around the country or just in the chicago land area. You dont have to be a member to buy it.

Protein shakes shouldn't be used for meal replacements... Most of them are made up of nearly all protein (thats the point right?). Every meal should well rounded: Lean Protein, Starchy Carb, Fiborous Carb. They are a SUPPLEMENT not a replacement. Also the body cannot digest much more than around 28grams of protein at a time... Whey protein digests very fast so you are wasting money by taking much more then that at one time.

well i dont know for definite, i read 45 grams here and set it as a standard, but i am not 100% sure either, never researched into it much more but if you can take in 28 grams every meal roughly 6 meals a day =168 grams a day x7=1176 grams =1.176kg x2.2(to get to lbs)=2.6 roughly lbs which seems accurate, 2.6lbs muscle gain is quite good, even if half the protein isnt taken directly into the muscle which it wont be, for making amino acids and DNA chains, that still leaves 1.3lbs per week, which is how much most people gain round here 45 grams per meal 6 meals per day =270 grams a day x7=1890 grams =1.890 kg x2.2=4.158. I think 28 grams is more accurate, maybe 35 grams for faster metabolisers and people who have larger bodies.

You can take a mrp(meal replacement), but not all the time since you will put fat on. But if I were you I would prepare some food inorder to be able to grab it and go. You can put the food in tupper ware for later.

you can easily turn protein into an MRP, toss some oatmeal and a banana in it... and what the hell I would take that and mix it with skim or soy milk and make a delicious weight gainer/MRP
