ive done so much searching on this question and cant get much info anyways ive seen so many different sugestions on the two supplements..ive been mixing my whey and glutamine cause i read from some people that they can be taken together but now ive seen a few people say that you shouldnt mix them because they fight for absorption and wont be effective together...can someone give me there advise on this situation...thanks alot

well a lot of protein shakes have glutimine. glutimine is an amino acid and that is what makes up a protein. so i highly doubt it would limit the absorption of protien.

I try totake them separate when I can but sometimes timing does now work well to accomodate so I will mix it into my shake, abosorbtion is possibly an issue if the total grams is more than 60 but ify ou are taking 5 gm glut with 40 gm protein I would not worry to much, but if you can........take them separate. basically its better than not taking it.
