Holla !
So , my story is - i started lifting about 1,3 years ago. I gained weight from 147lbs to 191lbs. My strenght is growing good.
But where are the muscles ? I seem to be bigger , but in same time , i don't.
Im using creatine , protein , animal pak -  i train 4times a week - but for the work , i don't see any results on my body.
What could possibly be wrong ?

It's impossible to tell if the progress Carlito has made was bad progress or not, especially the fact that we only know his weight.

Carlito,

Can you post your height, weight, diet, workout, and body fat %?  This would help myself and others point you in the right direction or pinpoint what you could be doing wrong.

The first thing that you should to to understand what you're doing wrong, is to evaluate exactly what you're doing.
  1. How do you currently exercise?
  2. How often do you exercise?
  3. How much do you eat?
  4. How often do you eat?
  5. What kinds of food choices do you make?
The more you understand about what got you where you are, the better equiped you'll be to move foreward in a more effective manner.

rofl - im not fat...
im 6'4 , 191lbs.
My diet ? I have to bulk so much that my diet is - eat all i can eat. Mostly - chicken , fish , rice , potatoes - i use yogurts for extra meal - it gives another 33g of protein. Eggs , curd , stuff like that.I drink protein and creatine for gaining more mass and animal pak for vitamins.
My strenght is good and it is progressing nice - i love squats , deadlifts and benchpresses - fine results there for me.
I don't think that my workouts are the problem , but anyway :
Monday : legs+abs
Tuesday : deadlifts+shoulders+traps+forearms
Thursday : back , biceps+abs
Saturday : chest , triceps+forearms

I don't know how to county bodyfat %... Problem for me is - im not fat , im skinny...
My weight grows and my power too - i just can't see the progress on my body. Many ppl i know in this time with same supplements are getting much better results.
It seems that im bulking good , but in same time i anyway look skinny , even i weight much more that my friends in the gym , but they still look bigger , and they have got much more muscle size - even though i lift bigger weights , and im much stronger than they are.
So , that is my problem - not that im fat - i would understand my problem if i would be fat.

For 6'4", 191 lbs isn't very big. You must have been a scarecrow at 147. So, you've gained 44 pounds, that has to have gone somewhere. If it hasn't gone to your gut, it's gotta be hiding in your muscles.

I'd get some skin pinch calipers so you can measure your body fat % week to week to track your progress. Also, do you have some before and after pictures of yourself? You might not be able to see any changes week-to-week or month-to-month, but if you are able to compare pictures after a longer span, you should be able to see a difference. It's not possible to gain 44 pounds and not see a visible difference, unless you're hiding a cache of depleted uranium in a hollow leg or something.

147 at 6'4"?  holy balls... i haven't weighed 147 since i was like 5'0".

You are seriously disadvantaged in "looking" muscular because of how friggin tall you are.  you have to spread your muscle over 76 inches of height...  which doesn't translate to much.

congrats on the massive gains though, thats incredible.

No doubt the amount of weight that you're lifting has increased in all exercises (during this scale weight hike from 147 to 191), right?

Imanerd - yeah , it seems that it should be a massive gains - but i can't see it... A guy in my school is training as much as i am - he's about the same size , but he weights a lil bit less - he looks really big , and he has huge triceps un biceps - arms are great , chest looks totally big , etc etc. But i don't look not as half as big , as far as muscle size goes.
My friends sometimes ask : "why aren't you ripped if you train so hard ?" The thing is - my weight is growing , my strenght too , but not my muscles... And actually - i don't think that it's because im doin' something wrong in a gym...

Cursor - yeah...

The more control you have over your nutritional intake, and the timing of the feedings with respect to your activity schedule, the greater your success will be.

Do you have control over what & when you eat?

44-lbs in 1.3 years (67 weeks) is 0.65-lbs scale-weight gain per week. Depending on how disciplined you are and how well you know what you're doing, it's possible to gain as much as 30-lbs of lean mass in 60 weeks (given a starting lean mass of 110-120 lbs, or so). That's 0.5-lbs per week of lean mass. If the rest (0.15-lbs) is fat ... that's not bad at all. Smile

Now, let's see how Carlito gained his scale weight.

well , i control it as much as i can - it is hard to get extra meals , but im trying.
So - first thing in the morning :
1)At about 7:30 - Curd , eggs , oatmeal ir buckwheat - i try to get some protein and carbs for the day.
2)At 10:00 i drink some yoghurt = 18g of protein
3)At 12:30 i try to eat big - chicken , potatoes , salad , mushrooms , carrots bla bla...
4)When i get home at 15:00 - creatine , later chicken , rice , salad. + after 30minutes - animal pak.
5)After workout - creatine again , abd later protein drink.
6)At about 20:00 - big meal again with chicken or fish and stuff.
7)Before bed protein drink...

Im starting to think that im not getting as much protein as it woul be needed - so i'll try to add some 2l of yogurt in the day - bonus 60g of protein , and maybe one more protein drink - so i'll have 90g of protein added to my day...

Jeffking - well , i feel so skinny , that even if i have a chance for some fatty chips or **** , i go for it - some fat for a dude of 6'4 at 147lbs starting weight will never hurt ;)

Make sure that you have larger meals before & after your workouts, and don't eat a lot before going to bed.

Can you offer some idea of the weights that you lift (including sets & reps) for deadlifts, bench press, rows & squats?

a gym trainer told me 2 months ago , that if i want some muscle mass , i should try doing less reps with larger weights , so i stick to that - and it seems to be working a little bit more for me so -
i usually do 3 sets of each excercise and about 4-6 for bigger excercises - bench press , squats , deadlifts , pulling and pushing movements.
For calves , triceps , biceps , flyes for shoulders etc i do about 6-10 reps...

Now that you've offered info on set/rep schemes, can you supply some idea of the actual weights that you lift for each of the following exercises: deadlifts, bench press, rows & squats?

These are bent-over rows (for back): <click>

What do you do to exercises do you use to work your back?

From what I can see, additional muscle gain (perhaps what you're expecting to see) on your 6'-4" will come only as you increase the your lifts. Push to increase all of those compound lifts by 10% over the course of these next several months.
