When is the optimum time to take my whey protein.

After workout and before bed. Everyone has their own preferances but these are the times that are best imo seeing as these are 'rest' periods.

i just use my protien with a small snack as a meal replacement... it fills me up pretty good...

You should use it as something between meals rather than a replacement. Remember it is a boost of protein and won't be as good as protein from actual food. All supplements should be taken in addition to meals rather than a replacement.

after workout for sure along with simple carbs, some take it before. some say morning, you could do night but casein based protein owuld be better since its slower digesting. if theres one time tho, its post workout

I normally have 3 protein shakes daily..

One first thing in the morining since my body has hit starvation mode due to not having anything to eat for 6-8 hours..

One pre and Post workout..usally within an hour before and after..

I use them pre and post, but for me that is breakfast 1 and snack 1 - at times when bulking I can take up to 4 per day, sometimes I go off them but also theya re good for snacks or meal replacing if you dno't eat or dn't have time..........all depends.
