 when to take

when to take - Monday, May 26, 2008 6:40 AM
hey im andy and i'm 14
anyway i bought 100%whey protein and also muscle and weight gainer recently
because in my house there is hardly any good food.
im looking for guidance of when to take these supplements
 
because i have school i was thinking in the morning i have porridge
then in skool i eat pasta at around 11 o clock then dont eat again until i get home at about 4pm
at 4pm i thought i wud have some weight gainer before me meal which is at 6 , then ill train at about 8pm , ive been having my whey protein around 30 mins before the workout is that good?? then after the workout i usually try and eat a big meal, should i then take another protein shake??

take a protein shake when you wake up, and immediatly after training. you can take some before training too

i cant take immediately after training is 20 -30 mins later still good?

20-30 minutes is fine. just try and get it down before 45ish minutes.

You dont have to take one in the morning as long as your eating a good, full breakfast. PWO, definetely.

yea i agree with red jeep, u absolutely have to take a post workout drink and i would take the weight gainer before u go to bed so ur body is not fasting while u r sleeping, also weight gainers r a waste man try takin ur protein and adding peanut butter and falx oil or cornola ull get those extra cals and fat so ur not blowing holes in ur wallet
