I was just wondering...when's the best time to train...morning...afternoon..or evening? I'm guessing morning because then you have the whole day to eat and take proteins to fill your muscles...and then go to sleep to rest.............but i also think if you train in the evening then your really close too going to sleep so one last proteine drink and you go rest your muscles.......so whats do you guys think is the best to do? or maybe one or another dosent make much difference?

I've heard the best time is in the evening, but that THE best time is whenever you can get your a$$ in the gym! Good workin' out! :)

Testosterone is naturally highest in the early morning, hence the "morning wood" for those who sleep at night.

The best time to train is when your physically and mentally prepared to train and have the time. I w/o best late afternoon/night...I hate waking up early. I will say this though, when you make yourself workout early in the day, you do feel great throughout the rest of it...If only I could make myself wake up early ><

If I get a great w/o in early morning, the rest of the day could blow and I still have that great workout to remember and to know the day wasn't a total bust.

I prefer the evening when the gym isnt full of peeps. I agree the morning w/o is the best for feeling good for the day though.
Just starting out but watch this space!

There is really no optimal time for me because I change workout schedules based on my office schedule. The key is making sure you workout per day.
