It is easy to slap a label on someone and say "your an ecto" or "your a meso"
But the truth is, most people are a blend of many body types. It would really help if you post some pics, also being that this is the "Critique my Physique" section - it would make sense

It only appears that way because he is not flexing correctly, he flexed his traps instead of his lats, Thats why his traps are pushing together and it makes it look like he has no lats at all..

ye i know man i need to work on alotta sh*t.im a skinny bastard. i started lifting like 2 years ago and ddnt really pay attention to my diet.i ate everything mostly dirty foods cause i wanted to gain weight so bad.ye i gained muscle but i gained a lot of fat too.year later i decided to lose weight so bad not caring if i lose the hard earned muscle because i felt fat and ugly.did keto and jogged a lot of times in the morning empty stomach.now im hella skinny again back to where i was in the beginning.but its better than being fat.i guess i just look better skinny cause i get a lot of compliments especially from females lol.i feel good about myself right now but i would like it better if i was big and lean.i just dont really know what i want i mean i want to be lean but at the same time i know im skinny and want to gain some mass.i decided to bulk(started last week)with keto now i love keto.but main reason is that im scared to go back to eating carbs cause im hella scared to gain fat again(especially facial fat!honestly i think the thing thats stopping me from bulking is that im scared to gain facial fat cause it makes me feel ugly.i gain facial fat easily).i just eat everything whenever im hungry but keto style.i dont know if this is the best way but i know im going to be doing this and if i gain some fat im going to try to cut the RIGHT way.ever since i started keto ive been eating clean.no carbs(except for carb ups), no dirty foods at all except christmas and new years.im really dedicated when it comes to eating.i can control myself.sometimes my gf complains saying stuff like "wow your always into your body.you put your whole life on your diet and you forget about me.one ice cream drumstick wont hurt!".i tell her "no i dont want that. im just tryna be healthy".females, i know i know lol =)
i dont think my arms are big maybe its just the pic making it look bigger.but my friends always tell me i got big arms.maybe thats because im short everything else looks bigger lol.but ye honestly i think its easy for me to get big bis.
im 20 years old turning 21 this october.i look younger than that though especially after i lost weight i look hella younger.im 5' 3 and i weigh 110 lbs right now.ye i know hella skinny right?trust me i want to gain mass now just scared to gain all that fat back.the highest i went to was 149 lbs muscle and fat.
im busy with college and stuff but still manage to lift 3 times a week(push/pull/legs) and jog 3-4x a week.i only lift at home barbells,dumbbells and a bench is all i have.planning to join a gym soon when i get that damn job.just waiting for that phone call =).well i dnt think im gna be joining a gym anytime soon.i got like 4 sisters to help out(yes im the only son) so i rather waste my money on my family and when everything else gets settled ill join a gym.ill be sticking to just bb's and db's for now =/
oh ye i should mention i never train legs.im going to start to this friday though

Your not hell of skinny.. You look about average to me..  Your not flexing correctly what so ever so that makes you look thinner then you really are. 

In my opinion your a mesomorph.  If you were able to put on weight like that, thats a good thing!! Just keep the diet clean slam down more calories and start bulking!!! Get your training straight and you might look rather beastly in about a year or 2.  
 
 
BTW - You actually look really good for only 110lbs my girlfriend is like an inch taller or so and weighs 120lbs.. So you two are about the same size.  I am sure you didn't want to hear that.. but you look much bigger then her.   You would probably look great with a clean bulk to 140lbs.

I would have to go with ecto/meso leaning more towards a ecto. Because of your somewhat small waist and young looks for your age. I know that most meso's hit puberty at a younger age take me for example I had the beard look in 9th grade started to shave 7-8th grade. Ecto's normally look young grow hardly any facial hair if any at all giving them the young look at a older age. Im not sure of the science behind this but I see it all over.

when u say clean bulk, do i have to count calories and all that?i counted calories everyday when i was cutting and to be honest its damn irritating. if u meant clean bulk as in eat A LOT as long as its clean foods then that would be great =)

I tell ya what give this a try.. Eat 5 - 6 times a day but don't count calories just put a bunch of food in front of your face and don't leave until it's all gone.. I mean a bunch of food man.. like 1 big plate or 2 plates. Set an alarm for every 3 hours in your cell phone or something.. Just get an alarm going on that tells you when to eat. The key is to eat how you lift, push your self!! Eventually you will just get hungrier. I did not realize you were asian most asians I know are "Ectomorphs" I am leaning more towards ecto because your bones look small judging by the last pics you put up.

So now that you know to eat like a mad man. What does your training look like?



Edit - Just stay away from pizza, to much fast food, ice cream etc.. all the things that you know are bad for you.

Pasta, white rice, potatoes, oats, nuts <--- These are the key to bulking!! Carbs baby!! tones of them!! Just be sure to add some Chicken, Beef, Tuna, veggies, Fruit into that mix and you will be all good!! Eat them carbs!! Lots of carbs!!

The high protein burns calories, just letting you know.. Typically people increase the protein when they want to cut. When bulking they decrease the protein increase the carbs, Thus the reason they say "Carbs are a body builders best friend" The same type of anabolic reaction your body gets from fats it also gets from carbs. I am still learning about this my self but thus far with a high carb low protein diet my measurements are increasing and body weight increasing by 2.5lbs per week. I am just gaining back the weight I lost though. My work out partners are having luck with the high carb diet to though.

Regardless of what you do just force your self to eat more and more. Counting calories is a good way of over doing it on the calories and putting on more fat then muscle.. But dude.. your thin man just keep eating and your training should change how the weight is distributed on your body.


BTW do you speak tagalog? what is your dialect? Just wondering.

It all depends on how your body reacts. Keep going with your keto, if it doesn't work out switch it up. You will gain a little fat with muscle, not a big deal though! Just keep on eating!


My girlfriend is filipina, she speaks tagalog to me on occasion because she wanted me to learn the language. I can understand bits and peaces but my communication is very limited. I get better as the years pass though lol.

filipino's tend to be ecto morphs.. Very small bones "small frames" and not many of them are over 6 foot. I am sure you know that though LoL I have seen some pretty damn big filipino body builders though!! At your height 165 - 170lbs would look great on you! 200 would be huge! I think with some hard work and dedication you may be able to bulk to 135 - 140 within this year putting on a significant amount of muscle.

Seriously, you look pretty good, nice foundation, with some bulking I think you would look very good.

I have 2 filipino friends, and one got pretty big, he bulked up to 200 and looked pretty good. He has slimmed back down to 185 I beileve do to time constraints, hes a dentist
