well u have to start somewhere right??? i never though i would reach 250 on bench press.....but here i am real close to 275.....time is JUNK!!!!! cuz i want it NOW......hehe

Stong points would have to be my curls I have straight bar curled 225 for one rep.

that is crazy tiger....good bench #'s and the curls are crazy!! ive done the 60's and 65lb dumbells on the preacher...but on the curl bar, maybe 100lbs total....

Best bench was a few years ago when I was at 230 lbs my bench was 365 my squat was 430 my deadlift was 410

I got sick of being that big and having a gut so I focused on getting leaner and got down to 172 four months ago I am on my first heavy program in a year but I no longer max out as I don't care what my max is and I don't want to take the chance on getting injured during a failed lift.

I am a little concerned that peole are only listing their bench. I hope everyones program is well rounded and works all muscle groups.

i just added squats into my program.....ive never worked out my legs..ill start with squats then slowly add other types of exercises.....welcome aqua man

LOL, I had the same concern a couple of pages back, aquaman. My theory is this- Anyone who's only concerned with their bench press eventually ends up doing one of three things-
1- They take it seriously and start working everything, or-
2- They quit, or-
3- They end up hurt because the rest of their body isn't strong enough to support the weight they're trying to bench.
Of course, we try our best to discourage the last two here.

umm this school year i started benching about 80 pounds and now i just tried maxing in my weight room at my house and i got 185. i weigh 167 right now and not lean by any means, lol. and i do reps with 240 pounds squating... ive always been the small kid lol

newest for me......bench press 260...just today.......and most i squat is 135....dont make fun...actually its less than that......its on a smith machine thingy.....i just started!!!! last month i hit the 260 mark and i SWORE i was much stronger.....oh well

That squat weight's going to skyrocket over the next few weeks, boyrancher. You're just getting used to the idea of squatting right now, once you get the form down to the point where you're confident with it, don't hesitate to put more weight on the bar.

i would like to add weight....i like the feeling..but sometimes my knees will crack or pop....and i dont like that at all.......someday perhaps....

I would seriously suggest ditching the Smith Squats.

well new news for everyone...especially ME!!!!!! i maxed out ONE last time before i start my critical bench program....i managed to put up 270 lbs and attempted for 275 and FAILED...but im still happy!!! took me ONE month to gain 10lbs on my bench max.....thats all i got for now....i WOULD go without assist on squats, BUT im just a baby at them....i need to crawl, then walk, then run...silly PWOLF....haha jk
