Hi guys,

I am 21 years old, and I've played soccer for about 15 years now. But now I'm taking a break, maybe for a year or something. I guess I'm a bit tired of it and want to try something new... but what? The last couple of seasons for me have been a bit ruined because of injuries, and that's probably one of the reasons why I'm getting tired of it. It sucks to be watching the players in preseason from the sideline and when you are recovering from injury the players are in top shape!
There are some gyms in my neighborhood and I'm thinking of getting a membership in one of these. But I don't know much about this stuff, I have been training some strenght etc earlier of course, but I'm a newbie when it comes to the equipments.
I'm about 186 cm and 83 kg. I want to lose some fat and build muscles. I know, I know, that's probably what everyone wants to! :) but I just need a little kick to get started, and it's a bit easier if someone else give you some advice to begin with. I'm probably gonna take the rest of the month off and start up in january, so I got a couple of weeks to figure this out... thanks!

(and yeah, I'm from Norway - so sorry if my spelling is badSmile)

Reading their posts helped.

Well I did have a pretty interesting life so far.....

- I was born
- I went to school and didn't really do anything cool
- I learned to play guitar at age 11
- I joined a bodybuilding forum at age 25
- Now I have a desk job where I sit and type stuff on this bodybuilding forum, and I wait to go home so I can play my guitar and lift weights.
- Sometimes there's some naked chicks along the way too.
