okay first thing is first my friend, there is no such thing as spot reduction. Fat is lost throughout the body in a pattern dependent upon genetics, sex (hormones), and age. Overall body fat must be reduced to lose fat in any particular area. Although fat is lost or gained throughout the body, it seems the last area to become lean or the first area to get fat is the midsection (in men and some women) and hips and thighs (in women and few men). Sit-ups, crunches, hip raises, leg raises, hip adduction, hip abduction, etc. will only exercise the muscles under the fat.

Incidentally, fat is also stored under the abdominal muscles and around the intestines and other organs. This can contribute to the "pot belly", pushing the abdominal muscles and the overlying fat outward. now to get rid of this fat you will have to do a lot of cardio such as swimming, running walking, sprinting, jumproping,
now to your work out, sence you have a wife and 3 kids it probly wont be esy for you to work out every day if you could your routine would look something like
mon:
biceps triceps
tues:
legs
wed:
back
thurs:
chest
fri:
shoulders

but if you cant go 5 days week for bour 45 min try a 3 dy split
mon:
arms chest
wed:
back shoulders
fri: legs
and on your days off do some cardio. hevy weights low reps high sets about 2 min rest in between sets. now for your diet. eat healthy stay away from all the fatty fast foods.Good foods
protein: chicken breasts, tuna, cottage cheese, eggs and egg whites, lean cuts of beef

carbs: oats, whole wheat bread, yams, veggies, fruits, brown rice, barley

fats: raw almonds and walnuts, flax, fish oil(from salmon and other fatty fish or from caps), oilve oil, natty pb

Here are some guidlines to follow...

-eat 6+ meals a day, eating a meal every 2-3 hours
if you have any more questions just ask or pm me (personal message)
