very high reps effect on shape - Monday, June 15, 2009 4:20 PM ( #1 )
after 10 days am going to my place in syria and there are no gyms at my village, but i have a barbell there. I can lift the barbell for bench press for like 20-30 times, will this keep the shape of my muscles or there will be defect in there shape if i use very high reps??(am going there for 2 weeks)

Believe it or not high reps with a lower weight such as a barbell will help increase definition and shape especially in the muscle area that is worked. So basically, low reps will not hurt muscle shape; if anything it will help it.

Definition comes from low bodyfat, not reps.

Muscle shape is depended upon genetics, you can build muscle but I don't see re-shaping is possible.

u can rather do pushups pullups burpees n stuff for 2weeks...
or what the heck take a break if uvealready been at it for a few mnths...
every 8-10 weeks u shud neways take a break

and u dont tone ur muscle with weights...
u get that perception when u have low body fat...
