Yeah, I've always thought about that. I don't know why but my strength seems to be pretty low, concerning my amount of muscle mass. That's one of the reasons I'm doing this kind of strength training though. However, you should also take into consideration that I'm an Asian, and we don't lift like westerns do. In my uni, there are quite a few western people (exchange students), on average, they lift BIGGER than we do here. Sometimes even if you look at their body, our body is not that bad compared to them, even though we lift much less. In where I live, I think my lifts are okay, although they seem to be very low compared to you guys. Anyway, thanks for looking up! :)

vdk_au i'm asian too.....;)..seriously i am.. Really? Wow, I don't know man. Probably you find it hard to believe, but we have a few competing bodybuilders in my school Uni's gym. Even that guy only bench 225 for 4 times, despite the fact that he's big. I've never seen a person who squats 225 in my gym. It's not me being defensive.. I mean, compared to people around me, my strength is not bad. But when I come on here and read what these guys are lifting, I feel like a little baby..

I mean your bench is quite strong (55kg + 20kg bar(?) = 75kg), yet your deadlift and squat are pretty much the same amount?

Oh, now I get what you mean. Yeah, I guess my squats and deads are very weak. I'm also really wondering why is that so. Am working on them though..
