muscle talk members seem ALL focused on 5x5 routines, however following danmirages post he says 3-4 sets total and 45 mins MAX in the gym
if i did 9+ sets on 8-12 reps it will be like 2 hours each time, i also thoughht that this was overtraining
what do you think?
your total sets are 15, is htis PER bodypart? or each workout
so 15 chest and bicep etc
15 total sets each workout my friend. 5 sets on chests and no sets on bi's, don't do them.
I don't know don't want to assume but seems like your really not convince with number of sets and reps towards building size.
Give it try and you will see.
For me took me a month to actually try the routine and I regret not doing it a month earlier.
Believe me my friend you will get good gains both strength and size when done correctly. Don't modified or add any isolation exercises.
Stick with 4x6 or 5x5 scheme.
