top of shoulder

Ok here is the deal. For the last two weeks I have been having trouble with one of the muscles in my shoulder. It only affects me when I am benching and it seems to be located right above my collar bone furthest from my head. I have skipped my chest workout for the passed two weeks and its not getting any better. It seems to only hurt while benching when the weight is down by my chest and if I flex my traps, actually it hurts like hell when I flex my traps, but only when my shoulders are at normal height. If I slightly raise my shoulders and then flex I have no pain. Obviously it is a strain but I am wondering if there is anything I can do to help it heal. Is stretching it a good thing and so forth. This is the first time I have had any problems that lasted for more then a day or two.
Age - 24 5'6 Weight- 145 bf % - 9.9 Bench - 250 max Bench during training 210 leg press - 340 deadlift - 225 I don't try anything, i just do it

Probably is a strain. Rest it and ice it for a few days. After these few days, you can stretch it, lightly at first but increasing for a week to 10 days. After 10 days, if it feels ok, have a light workout...see where ure at. If it still hurts, Rest + Ice + stretch... Ease into training when you are pain free and take it slolwy back to ure normal intensity. If its still there after 2 weeks.. see someone.
