too many supplements/mass/weightgainers - Wednesday, May 24, 2006 5:36 PM
Hey guys. I'm just getting into lifting with some help from my dad who used to lift years ago. I'm focusing on my upper body right now, but still work on lower. I got a tub of GNC weight gainer 1850 and i'm finding that its just so much to stomach that my lifting suffers from it. One serving is around 32-35 ounces after its mixed.  theres just so much stuff out there I have no idea what to use. I'm looking for the least amount of liquid with the most amount of calories. Perhaps a pill form? I work a lot and find it hard to eat a lot so i'm really counting on these supplements for the extra calories and energy for workouts. Thanks for any help.

You can't beat a good proper diet before worrying about supps etc, what does the diet look like?

As you are just beginning, you need to be focusing on all your body not just you're upper. It's the best way to get results. As you are a beginner, you will really get good initial gains. My advice would be to really hammer your whole body. That way you make best use of your testosterone and beginner hormones lol...
