Hello, I am 17 and would like to get into the whole supplement scene. I have a few noob questions as you will, I am sure these have been asked alot. but, here it goes.

Well, I am I think about 5'8  180lbs ( give or take a few ) I have not been wieghed for quite sometime now. Though it seems I have lost some weight but gained some muscle so I will say 180 for now. My question is, Would it be worth it or wise to take supplements even if I do not workout religiously? I maybe go to the gym once a week and have a few tools at home to use. Would it be worth using supplements? Would they even help me if I don't do a whole lot of working out? If you think it would be worth a shot, do you have an advice on what to use ect.

I am not looking to have a 6 pack or start bulging with muscle. I work on a farm, so yes I have a farmboy build. I some nice definition in some area's ( I.E. Arms ) yet horrible area's ( I.E. Abs, thighs ). I would just basicly like to clear those bad area's up and make my arms have more tone to them and some added strenght of course do to my profession. I have always thought about using supplements and so fourth for years. But, since I can't make it to the gyms awhole lot I figured it wasnt worth it.

Help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if you have had to answer this for many people before. :(

Thank you in advance.

Diet is the key..supplements are an un-necessary minor player.

If you don't havea  specific performance goal..just train the muscles you want to stengthen and eat a balanced meal an hour before and an hour after you train!

Thats the advise i have found too. diet should be your first aim. the only other supps to even think about would be protien shake and fish oil (fish oil doesnt have any direct benefit for muscle but has a lot of health related benefits)

For a beginner, I would reccomend you a multivitamen and protein.

I'd wait on the creatine and NO un till your more comfortable though.
