time to add more?

ive been going gym now for about 5 and a half months full on, i have gained around 20 pounds and ws wondering whens it time to add another set to each muscle group right now i do 5 total for bicep, tricep and chest, 5-6 for quads and 5 for hamstrings, back is 3 for each part i know as the muscles get bigger it needs more to wear them out i jus wanted to know when can you tell whens its time to say go from 5 total for tricep to 6? thx
