time to add more? - Sunday, March 19, 2006 6:14 AM
ive been going gym now for about 5 and a half months full on, i have gained around 20 pounds and ws wondering whens it time to add another set to each muscle group

right now i do 5 total for bicep, tricep and chest, 5-6 for quads and 5 for hamstrings, back is 3 for each part

i know as the muscles get bigger it needs more to wear them out i jus wanted to know when can you tell whens its time to say go from 5 total for tricep to 6?

thx

Increasing Volume is the worst way to get more intensity into your workout.
This is the quickest way to overtrain.
Use other methods to get variation and intensity!
