yeah i really want to see this 245 hang clean too, cause that's heavy as hell. I can barely full clean 225. how insane is your full clean since your hanging cleaning that much?

Definently impressive if real. I don't know about you guys but my hang clean is about 20-25% less than my squat clean.

How wide is a wide grip? How does it compare to your normal grip on bench as far as weight moved?

well my normal grip is ill put my thumbs to where the rough part of the bar starts and thats my normal flat grip for bench, but for wide grip i put my thumb on the ring around the bar and usually place my grip there or a little wider, but if you go to wide you wind up pinching your hand on the bench so yea. but do you mean how does my weight lifted in wide compare to a normal flat bench? incline bench 160x5 175x3 190x1 180x3 170x5 alright, every set done here was a pr for me, never did any of those before, it felt nice to get a new pr in every set i did

i cant really tell you down to a tee, because i've never done heavy sets of wide grip, its always been like 3x8 or 4x8, but i know i cant bench as much as i can normal, so there is a difference, but im not sure on how much it is

I have a pretty wide grip so I was just wondering. Maybe going in more might actually help my grip.

how wide is your grip compared to my normal grip? and do you keep your thumb out or wrapped in? im guessing wrapped in, cause thats what most people do, but i keep my thumbs out when i bench

I'm pretty sure a thumbless grip is bad b/c it can cause injury and actually reduces the grip you have on the bar. Anyhow I may be wrong b/c i just tried it on a diff barbell then i use at the gym but my pinkies are probably about 30-32 inches apart.

You really should bench with a closed grip, thumbless is an accident waiting to happen...search some videos online of people using thumbless grips...not very pretty. I would never want to be maxing that much weight able to easily slip out of my hands, but I hope nothing like that ever happens to you. Thats an impressive hang clean too and would love to see a video, I maxed my power clean this past monday and was only able to get 235 up, failed 245.

Wow a 260 lb. bench for a 190 lb. 16 year old is pretty beast I gotta say. I got some work to do if I wanna get 260 when i'm 16 haha. Nice job man, really keep pressing those squats though don't forget about them.

I hardly even wanted to go out that night after a football game/practice. Hell its next to impossible to do any form of lifting after football. I just forgot about diet and lifting practically during the season and began a solid bulk throughout the winter to get my lifts back to where they should be.

I am squatting heavy right now probably 1x a week when I can fit it in, but once the actual season starts in a week, I will probably jsut try and maintain my strength.
