Normally, the abs are the last place for fat to get burned from- And the lower abs are the last place on the abs for it to burn from too, for most people. The key to lowering your bodyfat enough for all your abs to show through is all about diet- How many calories a day are you getting right now?

Okay- First step is finding out how many calories you need. Read this, and follow the link at the end of the article to the calorie calculators. It's a pain in the ass, but it's worth it. http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/What_the_hell_is_a_calorie_anyway/m_135283/tm.htm Once you have a number, let us know- We can help you put together a meal plan. You'll be eating five or six meals a day for the best results, which sounds like a lot- And it is- But you get used to it quickly. The thing is, as you can see in the article, adding more muscle and lowering your bodyfat percentage, or keeping it low, have two different calorie needs- So it's hard to try and keep or improve on a six pack when you're trying to add muscle mass. Muscle needs an excess of calories to be built, and an excess of calories usually means a higher bodyfat percentage. From the looks of your abs, you could use some more mass there- And overall, too. Nice work so far though- Excellent definition. Your plan should be to bulk up, add ten or fifteen pounds or so, then switch to a cutting diet to get rid of the fat and show off the new muscle you've built.

What don't you understand? How you have the body you have right now even though you eat crap? Easy- Nice metabolism. The problem is, in a few years, that metabolism is going to slow down from years of eating the wrong stuff. If you get in the right habit of eating good foods, you'll be ahead of the game- When everyone else you know starts getting guts and losing their muscle, you'll still have a six or eight pack, and still be adding muscle- Provided you're eating right. Believe me, once you get used to the proper diet, it gets easier as time goes by. When your body gets used to getting the proper foods, it starts to crave more of the healthy stuff.
