the small things in life...

kinda corny, but i know most here have the passion for lifting like i do so thought i'd share. Got measured for a tux yesterday for a friends wedding. when the lady was measuring she was feeling around on my back for my spine to start her measurements - she says "gosh you're so muscley i can't even feel where to start my measurement." after that she wrapped the measuring tape around my overarm (outside the shoulders) and the tape wouldn't reach. then she goes and gets the biggest jacket for me to try on - 52 regular - and it was too small...54R will have to work. I'll take that. i don't lift for anyones satisfaction but my own....but its always nice to get complimented on your hard work. even if she was 68............

It's corney but true... Sometmes that is what keeps me going on a bad day, when my motivation is beyond lacking (like last night). Feels good to have others notice, doesn't it, gilby. This weekend I saw peple I hadn't seen in 10 months, and anouther group that I hadn't seen in mybee a year and a half. Each time I walked through the respective doors, I got "holy crap you freekin' ripped" (by the definition of ripped as we know it, I am not, but certainly defined and muscley, in a feminine way). "what have you been doing, you sure lok like you know what you are doing, every time I see you you just look better and better!", and then the routine/ work out questions would follow. Really good stuff! I pat my own back, because I certainly added mass over the winter, and have leaned up for summer, still leaning actually.

Man, at that point you should have whipped it out and shown it to her. She was hitting on you hardcore, and you could have had her right there in the store. Unless she was an old ass lady or something.

I must have missed something here. I saw a compliment being made while someone was trying to do thier work in measurements. When did " you got hit on" happen? maybe thats why I miss so many seniors hitting me up?? WD
