Finally!  After being told almost 3 weeks ago "your suit will be sent out this weekend or early next week", it is here!  The butt is a bit skimpier than what I'd like but hey...I'll use a bunch of bikini bite.  I will never recommend this gal to anyone.  I was blown off soo many times it was pathetic.  I'm nervous about my 1st competition...so it would've been nice to practice posing w/ my suit sooner...get used to being so "out there".  If ya know what I mean!  Maybe she treats the people who spend more $$ better, but THAT shouldn't matter!  Vandella costumes gave me poor service and is a disappointment.

I'm offically backing off on my routine!  It feels soo good to be this close!  When I got done doing my calf raises this morning, I did my little "happy dance".  So many people at work have told me such wonderful words of encouragement...I want to do them proud.  This week is embellishing my suit, posing, posing and more posing.  Oh yeah, I guess I better start tanning too!  Got a good base from the beds (and thanks to genetics, a good olive color) and I will do Mystic tan 2'x (mon and wed) then hit the protan.  Anyone reading this w/ suggestions on application (that I haven't already seen) would be appreciated!  Mistakes and such....to prevent "melting" on stage.

Jewlery, makeup and hair are all planned out.  I'm ready to work on those finishing touches.  Let's do this!

Sorry about the pics....  I need to be more 'pooter literate!  I've got the rhinestones on my suit.  Boy, that took about 2 1/2 hrs altogether.  But it looks AWESOME!!  ...and I saved at least $100 if not more.  I did more than what the gal would've done for only $20!  Sweet.

Thanks Italianangel....  Keep your fingers crossed!

I'm soo thrilled!  I'm offically into single digits for BF%!  My thighs dropped finally!  I haven't weighed this little in I-don't-know-how-long....110#'s.  Holy Crap.  I've been nervous about how I'd look..but I gotta say, I look good!  ...and I love Bikini Bite.  I don't think I have to worry about my bottom creaping up on me!  I've got new pics and I will attempt to post them...hahaha.

If not, at least I can email them to Italianangel....she can get them up somehow! right?

Hey Italianangel!  Need suggestions on dealing w/ Protan.  I look blotchy right now. (two coats w/in an hour of each other at 5pm) Will that blend after I rinse in the am?  Also, if I do a morning coat, should I rinse before my afternoon coat.  I plan on touching up my shaving tomorrow, painting on a coat, all before 10 am.  Then I'll apply another coat early in the afternoon, around 2pm....or do I not rinse until morning and deal w/ this "wonderful" feeling of stickiness all day?  I didn't expect to be annoyed or irritated w/ doing this...but I'm a bit perturbed w/ how it's going on.

hey girl,
you are hard, your pics look great and you will do well!!!
I will post them in the next few days then you can send me stage shots!!
as for pro tan, I always had nothing but problems with it so I do not use it anymore, I just tan a few times per week for 2-3 months then use dream tan.
pro tan would splotch on me in the armpit area between shoulder and bicep attachments, in the inside elbow, my calves would not retain color, and to shave would leave spots.......it even went green on me a few times so when I found dream tan i used it with pro tan and it was okay but with dream tan alone my color never really splotches although without the tan underneath it would not look dark enough.  I heard dream tan now has a similar product to pro tan which I may try one day, but not this contest coming, won't need it, I am pretty tan and getting tanner...........
Best of luck today!!
Linda

No problem.... I settled down and rinsed in the morning and everything turned out great.  Speaking of everything turning out great.....I won both Figure Novice and Figure Open!!!!  I have a trophy almost as tall as me!  Whoo Hoo!  The President of the NANBF pulled me aside and told me he's talked to over 1,000 figure gals this year and he's only told maybe 5 that they should go Pro and would make money....and I'm one of those 5.  I'm shocked, flattered and elated in one mixed up ball of craziness!  I'll send out shots as soon as I can...

Thanks Italianangel for your help and encouragement along the way.  It's been a fun jouney.

RE: theWFH's 10 week countdown - Wednesday, September 26, 2007 12:10 PM
Ok, so now I'm done with that.  Now I need to slowly get back to eating more food.  That's gonna be different.  I have to fight the "guilt" of eating more.  But hey, I have a friend who made me the best chocolate cake and I've been having skinny slices....so I think I'll be ok.

Lifting, I've backed off by 80% and down to 3 reps.  I will be working on symmetry right now.  Improving my balance of over-dominent right side.  My right Vastus Lateralis is overly developed b/c of improper hip function.  So, I'm working on standing of both feet w/ equal body weight and my stride.  I'm doing my squats slow and deliberate to make sure both legs are putting forth equal effort.  For my shoulder, I'm working on proper retraction and function.  Right shoulder and hip have been in dysfunction for a long time.  But, I've been working on it for a while. Nnow that I don't have an event coming, I can step back the weight and really take care of things!

Thanks for reading my jounal.  I'll stop posting in this one and probably start a new WFH area.  Have a great one!
