the low-down on competition - Monday, November 24, 2003 4:52 AM ( #1 )
Since I'm new to the sport, I have no idea where to look for competitions, how to get involved, what goes in during a competition, etc. Could someone please provide a quick explanation of how to find and get involved in local events, and what I should expect there?
Thank you!
Leslie

Two organizations to check out online are:
www.npconline.com
www.nabba.com

I compete within NPC. They require you to register(annual fee $65), then you recieve a monthly magazine and flyers for your local competitions. These are generally best for a first timer. Contests listed online are "bigger" shows.
