How to Get More Done in Less Time Yes they work. They are effective and they are a tool you can use to bump up the intensity when you are not just strictly training for strenght or focusing on just lifting heavy. You can even just do one exercise per body part heavy without super setting so you can focus on recovery and heavy lifting and the rest of your working sets, super-set them. All kinds of possible combinations.

Ok thanks for the info. And how long do you think it would take to see noticable results from doing supersets? how much faster is it than just working out normally.

There's no concrete formula for these kinds of things. It depends on a hundred different factors, your training, your diet, your genetics, your supplements, your definition of "noticeable", etc. If anyone were to say you'd see results 40% faster, for example, it would be just a random guess.

For Chest when I hit a sticking point where I've stopped gaining or going up in weight from doin heavy sets. I do something similar. I start at about 245lbs and start dropping weight in increments of 20 all the way down to 135. better have a spotter for this one. not for the faint hearted. don't forget to stretch and warm up so you don't hurt youself. Start at your heaviest and drop away. go to failure. Drop set work great for other exercises as well. But if you really wanna superset try bench imediately followed by something like dumbell flys. for 3 sets then incline etc. I like supersetting paramid curls with reverse grip pyramid curls. Good luck. Hope that was helpful.
