sugar or honey?

i have been substituting honey in my coffee instead of sugar (to cut down on 'bad' cals.). i noticed, however, that two teaspoons of honey have more calories than two teaspoons of sugar. would it be ok to switch back to sugar, or are is the sugar content different (i.e. "worse") than it is in honey?

honey is a slower absorbing lower glycemic sweet. It is a better choice, however if I were you I would wean yourself off or at least lower how sweet you make your coffee, you'll get used to it over time.
