hey man, how old are you? your growth will pretty much stunt itself by the time you hit 17 years of age thats just natural and you shouldnt be worried stunting yourself from what your doing at the moment because its mainly cardio, if anything your at no threat of stunting your growth in my opinion.

from the work outs you are doing now you wont stunt your growth. You are pretty much done growing so you can start to use weights. Just like twistedlink said, dont do 80-90% of what youre capable of all the time.

All that stunt your growth stuff is BS. I've grown 6 inches sense I started working out. The only way you'll stunt your growth is if you mess up your bones. Whitch wont happen unless your stupid and do more then you can handle.

Im at the same age, I do weightlifting 4 days per week and kickboxing 2 days per week. I dont think working-out can stunt your growth.

lerner, I have heard this "stunt your growth" theory for years. I am not aware of any real studies that support this idea. I think if you use common sense, you will be fine. Concentrate on form, use lighter weights and more reps, don't get caught up in the "how much I can bench" goal. I have lifted weights since I was 12, I am now 44. I am the same height as my two brothers who have never lifted weights (I am a lot wider!). I feel that a healthy lifestyle, eating plenty of good food and getting lots of sleep will give your body time to grow. Good luck with your training. With respect Intense

Arnold started pumping at age 15 and entered his first comp at 16. He is a pretty tall guy in his days so I wouldn't worry about it.
