Hi all Iv been training for about 4 months now and just starting to move into supplements. the choice iv gone for is usn pure protein igf-1.. Can anyone give me any advice on when to use ,and should i add anythinng else to my daily diet. many thanks john

What are your goals? What is your diet like? Do you take a multivitamin?

If you've only been training for 4 months, the only thing you really need is a good diet. Supplement with a pre and post workout whey protein shake and find a good multi-vitamin. flaxseed and fish oil are also good and packed is omega 3's. I would highly suggest reading through the nutrition section and avoid supplement hype.. Just starting out, you'll make good gains with or without supplements. quote:

I would like to start building my chest up and gaining muscle all over really. In terms of diet its been really poor iv got a bit of fat around my waist ect what im looking at getting rid of. Can i use the shake to miss out meals ect . many thanks.
