on the spot note thats just how we do it in the gym for those kinds of weight may not look like it but he never touched or lifted at any point
The poundage you use shouldn't effect your depth. If it does, then you should decrease the poundage. If you are training for powerlifting your squat should always train surpassing parallel to practice technique - especially in the heavy lifts.
Don't give people the option to suggest that your spotter is helping you. Get rid of him and use the Power Rack for it's intended purpose. It's made for a person to lift safely
alone.
and well if that aint paralell dont know what is did 485 the set before and my ass almost hit the ankles i knew where to stop on this one

If you managed to squat 485lbs with your ass almost hitting your ankles then this would have been the strongest lift to present.
no need to go any lower than legal depth on a max
Again, you're
above legal depth. The lift would
not fetch 3 white lights.
I'd much rather see you do well in a competition through constructive critique than pat you on your back and have you run the risk of failing.
If you are half serious about powerlifting then you'd already have squat depth down to a fine art.
That's my last peice of input here.
Cover the depth and you should be able to present some strong lifts in competition.
Good luck!
