split or 5-day - Saturday, February 07, 2009 8:16 AM ( #1 )

I was getting down to wondering: Should  I split or do a 5-day? It seems like doing a five day will keep my metabolism up, but a split looks like it would be more hyper-intensive for stregth

A 5-day is a split, and I am assuming by split you mean a 3 day split (push/pull/leg).  If you are a beginner (which I am assuming you are by nature of the question), then a 3 day full body is leaps and bounds better than both options.  Between those 2 tho, the 3-day is better than the 5 day, which shouldn't be done by anyone who isn't at the advanced level.
