something new with chest...

I have a friend who has some issues with his chest. Firstly, he' s not that big, his upper chest is severly lacking especially at the upper inner region, and his chest isn' t that wide ie. its tear dropped in shape. Its hard to describe, but im not going to post a picture, because i dont know if its ok with him. But anyways, what he looks like isn' t that important. I said for him just try once, doing 6 sets but each set do a different angle. For example start with flat, then move the bench up one click, then another, then another, until you got to incline press. I dont know how well it worked seeing as it wasn' t me, but has anyone tried this or something similar or have anything to suggest to this fine young man? Thx for any suggestions/comments Also im sorry my descriptions suck so much, im a terrible writer.

I do that all the time.. it' s called variety. Hitting the muscle from different angles and with different exercises keeps it interesting and keeps me sore (not that sore is an indicator of growth). 6 sets.. 2 exercises per set.. will help with growth. If his upper pecs are lacking then stress that area first.. outer pecs he could do cable flyes or dumbbell flyes.. or wider grip flat bench press. Development takes time. It takes dedication. And it takes a stable routine but with enough variety to stimulate various areas.
