unfortunately my answer will be as short and as vague as your question as there isnt much information to help you out. So.... What does your training consist of? And What foods are in your current diet?

Is your goal to get big or to be a fighter? Those are two very different goals. The best fighters always seem to be those who aren't that big for their height and that do a bunch of cardiovascular exercises, speed, and coordination training. While guys trying to become big avoid too exercise.

Working out has very little to do with being a good fighter. If fighting is your goal, join a boxing/kickboxing/jiu jitsu/etc gym.

prysm is totally right on this matter. look at a boxer, or hell even a ufc fighter. they dont bulk up to be better. they work on coordination, balance, symetry, and overall fighting. if you are looking to be intimidating, then get bigger. or gain some confidence. but if you actually get in to fights and are tired of loosing, then learn how to fight. perfect example, back when ufc first came out, i forgot the fighters names, but there was a tall, lanky guy, i think it was royce gracie, and he fought a huge sumo type fighter. i mean huge. and royce won the fight, he didnt beat his ass, but he won through submission. so you see it doesnt matter about how big you are, its how you fight. look at patrick swayze. he is a bad ass fighter.

Agreeing with the above answer's as well. Need to know your height, diet and current training regimen. I used to take and instruct Tae Kwon Do (Korean martial art), and was lighter and quicker, plus a bit more flexible than I am now, it really made a difference for sparring, since agility is a fighters best friend. I'm now doing more bodybuilding, and am more solid, and dense, also stronger, but wouldn't be as effective in a fight, but then if you look stronger you generally won't get picked on as much. Point being that your training depends on what your goals are, wether you want to be big and intimidating, or an agile and quick fighter.

Do you know anyone who fits the body profile you would like to achieve? Then perhaps you may ask them what they are doing, and ask them to give you a training session so that you can see how it is done both safely and correctly and at the pace that suits you! Good luck and don't get discouraged, it will take some time but you will see results!!!!!
