ORIGINAL: jonb112303 yes eating sugar with a good amount of protein or fat will slow down the absorbtion on sugar thats why ice cream is considered low on the GI, it has 9 grams of fat and a good amount of protein

The sugar that i get basically all comes from milk, whey protein, and the tiny amount in cheerios because ive been eaitng them lately.
