O.K, so i love pushups, there my favorite no-gym-needed exercise.  I did one or two sets a day and use to be able to get up to 90 pushups then i noticed i started to only go up to 80.  so i took one day off and got up to 84 since then I i have been only able to do 60-70.  What the Heck happened to my strength?

Stressing them that often and not giving them enough time to recover would be a huge factor as to why your strength is going down.
Overdoing the muscle is counter-productive.
