-
Saturday, July 12, 2008 5:19 PM
If i was gonna squat and i loaded the bar to 305 and did 3 reps for some power and then took it down to like 225 and did a 4x8 would tha volume training hurt my gains in power?? Basically i wanna know if itd be fine to train for explosiveness and then size in one session.

u can do both, but you keep stressing out about the same things, just relax and train.

ORIGINAL: David1991 from what i understand you cant train optimally in both directions but can still do both True. If one is majorly important over then other then it's not a good training plan but for most athletes it works out just fine.

Its like i know theres some good mass that could easily go on them, i just care more about power...
