My question is how much should I bulk before I start cutting. My body type and genetics probably won't let me very far past 175lbs but I weigh 160lbs right now. Should I start cutting when I get to 175 or is that to soon? Should I try making my body go past that point?
To bulk or to cut is actually up to the person himself/herself.
If you lift and play sport that does not allow you to be too bulky, such as basketball, you might not want to bulk until you are too "big".
On the other hand, if you play sport that obliges you to be big, such as rugby, you do not need to cut early in the process.
Personally, I would not continue to bulk if I passed the 15-16% of BF. But then again, it is really up to you.
