Creatine will breakdown but it will take a extreme amount of time (2-3 months) before the creatine even breaksdown by 20%. So mixing it a 8 hours or 10 minutes before doesnt make an astronomical difference in the level of creatine that can still be absorbed.

Original: Carl

i also read if u eat ice cream after work outs it helps insulin and helps prevent brake down of protiene and creatine

I have also read that ice cream contributes to the overweight couch potatoes waistline as well. There are more healthy transport ways to get the desired results, but ice cream is damn good.

Grape juice works well. Dextrose is what you are looking for to complement the creatine. Also look into getting some cinnamon extract as this will complement the creatine as well. As for how much juice, follow the directions of the creatine. If it states to take 8oz, then use 8oz of juice. Any where from 8-16oz is a good bet.

Yes you can do it pre and post workout and mixed in your shake if you like.

RE: how much grape juice with creatine (narty)

ORIGINAL: Carl

i also read if u eat ice cream after work outs it helps insulin and helps prevent brake down of protiene and creatine

that would be sweet, i like ice cream, but then u gotta watch the nutrition and diet side of it
RE: how much grape juice with creatine (Carl)

i also read if u eat ice cream after work outs it helps insulin and helps prevent brake down of protiene and creatine

RE: how much grape juice with creatine (danmirage)

Do not pre-mix creatine as it breaks down in solution.
Mix it just before you drink it, within 10 minutes.

Taking the creatine with ~93 grams of simple carbohydrates has been shown to increase creatine levels up to 60% more than creatine alone.

2 to 5 grams of creatine per day...follow the direction on your product...they differ, some are pre-loaded with carbs. More is not better.

Take your pre/post w/o protein and don't worry.

Note: Creatine supplements may be dangerous for people with existing kidney disease.
RE: how much grape juice with creatine (BigSwole)

bout 8 ounce of grape juice mixed with the creatine, should be sufficent enough
how much grape juice with creatine (narty)

It's been said that grape juice helps with the insulin spike, so how much juice do u actually drink with creatine?
