You either build muscle with weights or you burn fat through cardio and diet.

RE: Brand new to this, very eager! (Rangir)

I REALLY want to get my arms beefed. I know I have the desire and determination, I just need to know what to do first. My primary goal - Arm MASS. I want my arm HUGE, then I want to tone it. (doesn't everybody..? haha. :) ) I'm a pretty small guy. Not much beef, but my arms are semi-solid already. I'm not too worried about the fat on my arm, I'm pretty sure that will go away once I have the size I want and I start training for tone.

I'll tell you guys what I know already (or what I think I know) and I'm asking you guys to help me fill in the blanks.
1. I should pick a weight heavy enough so I can do 8 reps but not 9. (working till muscle failure, lots of weight, less reps)
2. Eat good. Lots of protein (meat, peanut butter, etc) and lots of veggies.

Now the guestions..
1. What'd be a good amount of days to work out in the week? I was thinking 3 or 4 a week.
2. What would get me buffer quicker, working out Mon, Tues, and Wednesday, then nothing till the next monday, or work all through the week but every other day?
3. Most importantly (I think) what should I be doing? I looked this up but people are using terms I don't understand at all. I understand Curls and pushups, thats it. :p

Thank you for any help and/or insight!
