Let me know how it goes in the next few days. </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=82487</link><pubDate>Mon, 03 Oct 2005 19:30:33 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title> 1st Time Trying GAKIC (white87911)</title><description>  Hello everyone, &lt;br&gt;  This is only my 2nd post, I have been reading some good stuff here recently and decided I would post my 1st exerience with GAKIC today. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I have no reason or motive for posting this other that to share my expeience with you. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  1st a little background. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I have been working out 4 time per week, 1 day of&amp;nbsp;running and 2 days off (7 days) for about 3-4 months now.&amp;nbsp; I am 32 years old and 6'3", at the begining of the year I was really out of shape and 225 pounds, I went on a strict diet and did a lot of running and went down to 185 pounds by June 1st.&amp;nbsp; After starting to&amp;nbsp;lift weights regularly, finding a rutine that worked for me and eating very good, I am now 200 pounds and have the most muscle mass that I have ever had. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I have been taking Creatine for 6 weeks now, I am not sure how much of my&amp;nbsp;results are due to that, but when I take Creatine, even drinking&amp;nbsp;a lot&amp;nbsp;of fluids,&amp;nbsp;it seems to dry my skin out to the point that I get bad dandruff.&amp;nbsp; So I decided that I would stop taking it and try something new. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I&amp;nbsp;recieved and email about GAKIC and,&amp;nbsp;it sounded good, I knew it would be expensive (thats why ths is the 1st Muscletech product that I have ever purchased) but I get a 20% discount this week so I thought I would give it a try. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Today is my Leg day, which is the most tiering and intense workout I do,&amp;nbsp;so&amp;nbsp;I thought I would give it a try.&amp;nbsp; I keep really good records of my workouts, so here is some info. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Last leg workout was September 19, 2005 (I know it was a while ago, that will be explianed) &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  4 sets squats 8 X 245, 8 X 245, 8 X 245, 7 X 245 &lt;br&gt;  4 sets calf raises 12 reps at 245 &lt;br&gt;  4 sets leg extensions 15 reps at 120 &lt;br&gt;  4 sets leg curls&amp;nbsp;15 reps at 70 &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  the actual weight is not that important, these set are done to failure or as close as possible. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  then lifted again on Sept 22 &amp;amp; 23 (other body groups) &lt;br&gt;  September 24, run 3.4 miles and&amp;nbsp;was last day taking Creatine. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  September 25-30 I was on vacation, no working out, no creatine, no protien shakes, but a lot of Drinking and Smoking (I know, not good, but it was vacation) &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  October 1st,&amp;nbsp; Chest and Tricept workout, I could not do the weight / reps that I had done for the same exercises from September 23rd. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Today, October 3, bought GAKIC and took it 5 minutes before the workout. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Todays leg workout: &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  4 sets squats &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;u&gt;10&lt;/u&gt; &lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;x 245, &lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;i&gt;10&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt; x 245, &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;u&gt;10 &lt;/u&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt;x 245,&lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;u&gt; 8&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; x 245 &lt;br&gt;  4 sets calf raises &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;u&gt;15&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; reps at 245 &lt;br&gt;  4 sets leg extensions 15 reps at &lt;b&gt;&lt;i&gt;&lt;u&gt;130&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/b&gt; &lt;br&gt;  4 sets leg curls 15 x 70 &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  For the last 4 leg work out sessions I have not been able to do 4 sets of squats at 8 reps, today 3 sets of 10 and 1 set of 8 and this is without working out and eating good and no Creatine for 1 week. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  I do not think that I was able to do this just because of 1 weeks rest, I only train my legs 1 time per week.&amp;nbsp; If the rest is the reason then my Chest / Tricept workout should have been at least equal to the previous work out. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  So there is my 1st experience with Gakic, Tommorow is Shoulder / Upper Back work out, I will post again after that to lest you know of the results. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Erik &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;   </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=82419</link><pubDate>Mon, 03 Oct 2005 11:53:02 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
