(SMUguy)

Contrary to most of the other reviews, N-Large has worked great for me. I've gained about 15 lbs. with a very, very minimal fat increase. I was about 155 with 6% fat 6 months ago and now I'm 173 ish and about 7.5% fat, But we're all different. I recommend Optimum Nutrition's 100% Whey Protein...I think its one of the best deals out there...77 servings for about $30 bucks! If that doesnt help you cut up...there's always ephedra...

RE: N Large 2 Postwork Protein Good..Yes or No! (Marc David)

That's a decent brand. Doesn't matter which I guess. As long as you like it and can budget it in.

I prefer iForce Nutrition's Nitrosyn myself. But really... you can try out various brands and see what you like. There's no "the best in the world shake"

Everybody has their preferences.

But there are low quality proteins. Not all proteins are the same. Designer Whey is pretty popular and I've not heard any negatives about it.

RE: N Large 2 Postwork Protein Good..Yes or No! I'm thinking of taking Designer Whey....

RE: N Large 2 Postwork Protein Good..Yes or No! (Marc David)

I'm not so sure it's even good for gaining. Too many sugars.

But in regards to your question, no it's not good. For cutting, I would suggest a regular, no frills, Whey shake.

You want the protein but not the excess calories.

RE: N Large 2 Postwork Protein Good..Yes or No! (WIP)

[sm=superman.gif]I'm now entering my cutting phase and I'm wondering if Prolab's Nlarge 2 is a good Post workout protein? I know it has a lot of sugars and I"m trying to avoid that. And I'm wondering because my body is begging for protein after a workout. Will taking about two scoops of NLarge2 harm my cutting? And I also will eat my chicken breast and brown rice after work as well. Thanks.
