(Marc David)

I noticed it right away after being off for a month. I felt pumped and stronger. I do drink about 1+ gallons of water a day. I take it after my workout. I also don't bother with a loading phase at all..

I think if it's gonna work for you.. you will notice pretty fast. It's possible that it won't. I mean, 30% of people are non-responders.

Take the advice that MegaMan gives. And keep reporting back. You can always try something like V12 for 8 weeks and see if you notice a difference there. That was geared towards the people who don't respond to creatine.

You do need to drink more water. 4-6 liters is not enough.

RE: CREATINE - week 2, first time cycling, and I dont think I "feel it"...? (MegaMan)

 schteevie....
1) First of all, during loading phase you should be taking 4-5 5g servings for at least 4 days for the loading phase... you need to saturate your muscles as much as you can in the creatine...
2) maintenence phase you should take 1-2 five gram servings/day for about 2-3 weeks, then you stop taking it to cycle it out for 1 week... then you start over
2) You should be drinking 1 gallon + water a day
3) take a multi vitamin thats timed released and eat enough food to ensure you have good insulin levels for proper uptake of the creatine... remember your diet is #1 priority... nothing will work to its full potential without sufficient amounts of carbs, calories, protien, etc for your body to properly grow and utilize everything
4) most important time to take the creatine is after your workout when your ATP levels are at their lowest
5) creatine doesn't generall help with endurance... its mostly benefits absolute strength... so you should be able to get more reps in before you fatique

CREATINE - week 2, first time cycling, and I dont think I "feel it"...? (Schteevie)

CREATINE - week 2, first time cycling, and I dont think I "feel it"...?

I did the "loading phase" (5g's x 3 per day for a week) now I am in the middle of week 2 doing normal 5g's after the work out with my home made "cell-tech style" dextrose mix...

I am trying to drink 4-6 litres of water per day and short of having to pee every 45 minutes, I am not feeling anything different...

I was expecting to really notice more "pump" or muscle water retention during workouts...
Also thought I would feel abit more endurance/strength, but I really dont seem to feel like I can do extra reps or anything...

I have heard 30% of people do not react to creatine...?
what are the "Signs" that creatine is working for you?
