I was out of town the past weekend for a car show and I was starving so I know I had to get some food in me but all the had were food stands. I thought to myself I was better off not eating anything, than putting deep fried food into me, no thanks. I think I'll end up grabbing a cooler like you said with my two days worth of food. I was also thinking because I'm taking a roadtrip this fall to Maryland, I live in Minnesota so it'll take a few days. What are some options when stopping at a gas station or something? or am I better off looking for a subway?

Wrong. You're better off staying anabolic, even if you have to eat McDonald's or something.

If I'm going on a road trip, I'll usually go to the store and buy some precooked, precut chicken breast, some whole wheat wraps, and peanutbutter.

I've gone 2 days on just that.
RE: On the road (jonb112303)

i just went on a road trip to florida wit the fam, i was suprised to see some muscle milk in one of the gas stations we stopped at, i got a couple of those and some protein bars...better than nuttin

RE: On the road (nate_0022)

ORIGINAL: boomersooner1331

sometimes you just have to make do with what you got.

are you on the road with your family, or what?

when we go out of town, depending on how long we're gone, i'll usually pack a few things in a small cooler for the car ride to the place, then once i get there it's all good.

but if you're stopping with your family, then usually there's a subway or something like that that's not as bad for you around...

I was just curious.
