If you need, you can always go a little lower, by the end of the first micro cycle, you should have a good idea of what her capabilities are and can adjust the 10's and 5's accordingly.&amp;nbsp; My advice for her would be to shoot on the lighter side and if near the end of the cycle, you can always add weight, but if you start too heavy, it makes it more difficult to adjust.&amp;nbsp; another solution would be as the other poster said.. go to walmart and purchase two 2.5 plates.. I can' imagine them costing more than $10 total.  &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp; &lt;br&gt;  Now let me address your question regarding the routine.. the first problem I see is, you've chosen to work your bi's and tri's&amp;nbsp;3X's weekly and on some weeks will only be working major muscles groups one time.&amp;nbsp; Doesn't make much sense.. I don't think they will be to much of a cost at 2.5. Then you can bring them in when your wife needs them. Just a thought. &lt;br&gt;  &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I'm pricing some 100lb plates now. My calf workout (seated) uses all the 45's I can stack on it.
