How am i looking for a quick scam changing my routine after 12 weeks omg im looking for a scam. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  And yes i do make progress in what i want bulking or cutting. </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=399217</link><pubDate>Mon, 30 Jun 2008 16:49:44 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title> RE: Mike Mentzer (David1991)</title><description>  i agree with u marc that he definitely put forth a lot of effort on the lifts but i'm not sure what you mean by most of us not being able to put forth the intensity. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  say he does something like db bench to absolute failure, goes to flyes to absolute failure, and then dips to absolute failure..u dont think u could do that? if u just take a set until you absolutely cant do another rep then there u go, i've done that before with supersets a lot and some giant sets and im sure u have too. not to sound macho or anything lol i just mean that it seems most could, it would just take will power and i could see people getting burnt out quickly.  &lt;br&gt;   </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=399185</link><pubDate>Mon, 30 Jun 2008 15:46:26 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title> RE: Mike Mentzer (Marc David)</title><description>  The thing is.. with some of these early HIT workouts.. you look at Mike Mentzer and think..  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  I can do that! &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  But you fail to realize that nobody I personally have witness in any gym, including myself.. has ever trained as hard as Mike Mentzer appears to have trained. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  His system worked for him.&amp;nbsp; That's all that truly matters. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  If you even wanted to train like Mike, you've need to put forth the effort.&amp;nbsp; I don't honestly think most of us are capable of truly taking a set to absolute, mind-blowing failure.&amp;nbsp; Momentary muscular failure or positive failure with a buddy helping on a rep... &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Sure.&amp;nbsp; But 100% complete effort to 100% complete failure? &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  I experimented with that 1 set to failure training.&amp;nbsp; I never put forth the true effort necessary.&amp;nbsp; I just didn't feel up to it, I didn't have a spotter and it wasn't my style. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Many newer programs and ones after took those ideas and adapted them 9 ways to Sunday.&amp;nbsp; Everything works to a degree for everybody.&amp;nbsp; But how well it works for you depends on several factors. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  One of which is intensity.&amp;nbsp; Mike had a unique style. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Simply following his routine is not enough.&amp;nbsp; You'd need to understand the intensity the Mike put forth.&amp;nbsp; It makes total sense he could or would only train that way with long periods of a body part layoff.&amp;nbsp; It's not possible to do what he did and come back a day and half later and repeat.&amp;nbsp; If you could, then you didn't put forth the effort he did. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  I've read a lot of his stuff along with Daren, Boyer Coe.. etc.&amp;nbsp; Those guys trained at a level you just don't see a lot.&amp;nbsp; Pure, focused energy.&amp;nbsp; There are people who can and do, but it's rare and infrequent. &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Most of us tend to workout more frequently at a lower overall intensity so that we can repeat the process and still chit chat in the gym.&amp;nbsp;  &lt;br&gt;   &lt;br&gt;  Nobody can argue that Mike's style worked for Mike.&amp;nbsp; He found what built him a massive physique and he stuck to it.&amp;nbsp; That's how we all should work.&amp;nbsp; Striving to find our ideals for our own body types and applying the fundamentals we've learned over time to our situations. &lt;br&gt;   </description><link>http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/fb.ashx?m=399180</link><pubDate>Mon, 30 Jun 2008 15:34:48 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
