I think what I would do is just gain as much weight as possible all over my body (including the chest). Since it seems like the pectus is a problem with the bone (correct me if i'm wrong on that) you could increase the size of the rest of your body in relation to your skeleton. That might make it less noticable, will take a long time though as that would probably be some serious weight gain. Serious weight gain is not impossible though, I went from 135 to 193 in just around 2 years. It sounds like you have already started gaining weight anyway, so just keep it up.

sorry i can't give you a more definite answer, id say starting building mass while you look for better answers, if my answer turns out to be right then you aren't gonna want to waste any time.

also i just remembered that you asked about specific chest workouts. Id say flat bench and incline bench are probably your best bets. Working out the inner chest is actually a very common myth. The inner chest is something that begins to look more developed as both pecs start to grow so big they no longer have much space between them. Any well established chest workout will work for you.

wow thats incredible. did you do that naturally?
RE: correcting chest pectus (Stillseeingreen)

I'm not sure if you can cover it up. You might need to try this workout been doing it for a couple of weeks and iv seen a considerable develpment in my chest :D except the upper mid part which frustrates me the most of course:(.

[image]local://22339/4620DDEA10254BFF94C799F3BF9EB61A.jpg[/image]

correcting chest pectus (faren4)

Hi, I've been bodybuilding for a few months using rippetoes and my progress has been excellent! All my lifts are significantly increased, and I'm looking a lot bigger and stronger too. However, one particular thing I am especially self-conscious about is the pectus I was born with in my chest (for those who don't know a pectus is a genetic defect and looks like this http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/images/ency/fullsize/2927.jpg ).
Anyway, I was really hoping if anyone knew any muscle development that might possibly cover it up, or make it less noticeable, maybe some chest work that focuses on the inner chest to put some muscle over it.
Thanks for any help.
