There are lots of ways to improvise lifts if you want.

Some people can even help you build a home gym.

If you dont owe any money fight it and prove them wrong, theres no reason there would be bad blood on their side if it is their mistake.

ORIGINAL: stalloneIs#1toMe

if i lose this im done there aint no helping it plain and simple cant lift without a gym

RE: squat vid 500 (stalloneIs#1toMe)

if i lose this im done there aint no helping it plain and simple cant lift without a gym

RE: squat vid 500 (Nm0ney34)

hope u get that straightened out bro...

dont just give up though, regardless you have some great potential, and you shouldnt just let that go to waste if competing is what you want to do...

RE: squat vid 500 (stalloneIs#1toMe)

always made out to be a dumbass , whatever

doesnt matter found out today that the owner is screwing me over money been making payments monthly and now got a letter from the financial department trying to collect a debt that doesnt exsist , same thing happend at the last gym

un ****ing real

p.s if this turns out to be the case i aint gonna be on here anymore aint no since in posting on a weight lifting site if i aint lifting anymore
RE: squat vid 500 (HEARTS)

ORIGINAL: stalloneIs#1toMe

from all i know and seen (on videos ) there allowed for saftey reasons must be depending on wich sanction it is

http://www.rawpowerlifting.com/pdf/rules.pdf

the first rule under lifting attire
RE: squat vid 500 (stalloneIs#1toMe)

from all i know and seen (on videos ) there allowed for saftey reasons must be depending on wich sanction it is

RE: squat vid 500 (HEARTS)

ORIGINAL: stalloneIs#1toMe

even without it raw im still flirting with 1300-1400 total
my bench is in the low 300's deadlift is undetermend last time i pulled was 455x5 im sure its raised

maybe if i get knee raps wich are allowed in raw comp they can give up to 30 lbs increase

knee wraps are not allowed in raw competition, you are allowed to wear wrist wraps and belt. knee and elbow wraps are not allowed. I'm positive on that one my coach is the president of raw powerlifting(I wanna say for the state but it might just be the city I forget). But wraps are a lot easier to get used to than the suit, and if you go tight enough with them they can boost more than 30 lbs.
RE: squat vid 500 (thehardway)

ORIGINAL: David1991

ORIGINAL: rippedchick

I think some of these guys are just nitpicking you because of competitiveness/jealousy. I personally exaggerate the depth on my opening squat to make sure I don't bomb out. And when training you should definetly go lower than needed. The top of your thigh by the hip should be below your knee.

[image]local://10767/29BA6926967F4105AE8037D42EB1CDE7.JPG[/image]

I don't think that line is accurate, the angle of the camera makes it nearly impossible to tell if his thigh was parallell or just over.

Also, those plates are made of styrofoam.
RE: squat vid 500 (stalloneIs#1toMe)

havent gave much thoughts to equipment until recently when im secure enough with the weights on working with now i'll look into suits

even without it raw im still flirting with 1300-1400 total
my bench is in the low 300's deadlift is undetermend last time i pulled was 455x5 im sure its raised

either way if the squat wasnt legal im getting closer to when i feel i can compete and be in contention for a good placing ((maybe if i get knee raps wich are allowed in raw comp they can give up to 30 lbs increase)) i wanna compete raw before going for or trying equiped meeting
RE: squat vid 500 (David1991)

ORIGINAL: rippedchick

I think some of these guys are just nitpicking you because of competitiveness/jealousy.
