(RedJeep)

Yeah, it all depends on when your day starts and ends and eating every 2-3 hours and consuming the correct amount of calories for your goal. As long as you eat when you wake up that is still "breakfast".

RE: Does the time you eat your meal affect weight-loss? (jonb112303)

man...i dont even wake up til around 1-3 in the afternoon, my last meal of the day is around 4:30am, i just eat every 2-3 hours, with most of my carbs coming from breakfast, pre, and post workout...no problem so far

RE: Does the time you eat your meal affect weight-loss? (edrice2)

since you are getting up at 11 vs 8, therefore staying up later, its the same just shifted...eat however your life dictates

if you happen to be more active later in the day then eat more carbs then, ppl generally assume that you are not, but some people are so dont get tied into that no carb beyond a certain time thing its too general

also, "earlier in the day" is a relative term to your personal day, so if you happen to get up at 2 pm and go to bed at 4 am for some reason say work, then early in your day is not early in a more typical day, etc.

eat roughly every 2-4 hours basically regardless of time of the day, probaly lighter last meal as well

RE: Does the time you eat your meal affect weight-loss? I know 0 is the best way to go, but if I MUST consume for whatever reason, how much should I not go over to ruin my diet?
RE: Does the time you eat your meal affect weight-loss? (Daniel265)

i would say that scenario 2 is better then scenario 1. especially if u are trying to cut. u want to eat most of ur carbs earlier in the day. the food u eat late at night is not really used as much for energy becaue u are about to go to sleep. i tend to have my last meal about an hour before bed. i normally have milk or cottage cheese. just try and stay away from carbs late at night. hope this helps

Does the time you eat your meal affect weight-loss? (dhl3)

Is there a difference between eating your last meal really late at night (after midnight) vs having it earlier on? Or does your calorie intake only thing that matters?

Is there a difference between same 2000 calories different time of the day?

Scenario 1:

11am - Breakfast
2pm - snack
4pm - lunch
7pm - snack
9pm - dinner
12am - snack

vs

Scenario 2:

8am - Breakfast
10am - Snack
12pm - Lunch
3pm - Snack
6pm - Dinner
8pm - Snack

Is Scenario 2 better than Scenario 1 or is there no difference?
