i made pancakes like that the other day had the standard pancake batter and added chocolate weight gainer to it, thye were suprisingly good and my first meal had 1300 calories then!!

My wife makes pancakes with protein powder and liquid egg whites. DAMN those thing are good!

its not just whey, heating any protein will denature it, correct?

from what i have read though this happens at 600+ degrees F, so it wont be an issue with powder

I read the wiki link, but i am more confused now, does that mean we have to eat protein raw?

i did hear ppl eat meat and egg raw, but i can not do that

BTW, how was protein powder made? it must have been processed by some sort of
maybe including heating?

i once mixed hot water with my whey protein powder on the tennis court.

(texas spring-time is 95 degrees, my water got hot fast)
needless to say.. i got nauteous / sick for several hours.

not sure... I know people who sometimes heat up their milk before mixing it in with their protein so it's a hot protein shake. I don't think it would do anything to it's nutrients.

For the sake of convinence, i try to make some protein cookie Bascially, it is made from protein powder and honey etc.

However, i wonder , if i put the cookie in the oven or microwave, will it damage the nutrition in the protein powder?
