I'm not sure what org you are looking for but this is the NPC site.

You won't have to be a pro to compete as you start off.

There is a link on that site for the current contests in your area. Along with rules, regulations and such.

LOL, I'm looking for something more local in my state, perhaps something which doesn't require you to be a pro to compete in.

I was wondering if there are any websites that anyone knows about where you can find information about up and coming contests in local areas?

I'm looking to start competing and am stuck as to where I should start looking.
